Gbenga Adeboye, popularly known as Funwontan, was a legendary comedian, presenter and radio presenter who ruled the radio space at its peak. He was born on September 30, 1959 in Odeomu, a town in Osun State, Nigeria. In the early 1980s, he was given the nickname Funwontan thanks to a broadcast on Radio Lagos.
