Lit. Col. Ayuba Tense, qualified engineer hired under the DSSC graduate induction scheme, leaving Kirikiri Prison and heading to the bar beach execution site. History of the 1976 coup plotters’ execution: On March 11, 1976, the coup plotters who killed General Murtala Ramat Muhammad were put to death at Lagos’ Bar Beach, under the command of General Olusegun Obasanjo.
