Awilo Longomba is a Congolese musician who dominated Nigeria and Africa with his songs in the late 1990s and 2000s.
He was born on May 5, 1962 in Kinshasa. His father, Vicky Longomba, was from the Mongo region of Ecuador and his mother was from the Ngombe region of Ecuador and Congo-Brazzaville.
