Long ago in the animal kingdom, tortoise and monkey were good friends until one day when monkey cheated tortoise who got angry and swore to make the former pay.
Monkey laughed at the tortoise and said, “how can you make me pay for cheating you? You are so small and too slow to deal with someone as big and fast as me.” Tortoise became angrier and promised to deal with monkey at all cost.
Tortoise went home and immediately told his wife, Yanibo, to make some sweet bean cakes. His wife obeyed him and made the most delicious been cakes ever. Tortoise was so glad, he wrapped the bean cakes and dashed off to lion’s house.
During its evening snooze, the lion met the tortoise.
When he woke him up, the lion was furious that the tortoise had interrupted his nap. However, as soon as he smelled the bean cakes the tortoise had delivered to his home, the lion immediately felt relieved and excited.
The lion quickly accepted and consumed some of the bean cakes that the tortoise had offered.
Lion asked tortoise where he found such delectable bean cakes while licking his fingers.
They were not bean cakes, but rather monkey feces, the tortoise, who had been waiting for the chance, promptly informed the lion.
He also informed the lion that the monkey is quite obstinate and won’t urinate sweet waste unless he is severely tortured.
When the tortoise declined to give the lion additional bean cakes, the lion fled.
go in search of the monkey.
Lion spotted the monkey whistling a tune at the base of a tree.
The lion leaped on top of him, grabbed his throat, and ordered him to urinate sweet feces for him so he could eat.
Incredulous and perplexed, the monkey informed the lion that neither he nor anyone else has ever produced tasty feces.
The lion became enraged before recalling the tortoise’s remarks.
When the monkey was close to death, he began hitting him ruthlessly.
The tortoise, who had been observing the entire time, emerged from concealment and began making fun of the monkey.
At this point, the lion realized the turtle was lying.
He walked away after leaving the already-beaten monkey.
The tortoise then addressed the monkey, saying, “I promised to make you pay, didn’t I?”
The frail monkey moaned in anguish but was unable to speak.
The tortoise chuckled and made his way to his home.
