Superstar is the debut album by Nigerian singer Wizkid. It was released on June 12, 2011 by Empire Mates Entertainment (EME). The album was produced by Samklef, E-Kelly, Jay Sleek, Shizzi, DJ Klem, Masterkraft, Q-Beats, Banky W and Vebee.
Wizkid’s superstar album features collaborations with Wande Coal, D’Prince, Banky W and Skales. Superstar received generally positive reviews from music critics. Music blog Jaguda gave the album 7 out of 10 stars and described it as “a sound record for an artist who has released many profitable songs.” A writer from 360nobs magazine gave the album an overall rating of 7.5 out of 10, stating that it contains no political themes and that its lyrical content is consistent with Abami Eda.
