Col. David Bamigboye belongs to the ethnic group known as the Igbomina. Theophilus Bamigboye, a former military leader who is now a politician, is his younger brother. In addition, he served as Kwara State’s first military governor. His department, which dealt with scholarship and bursary concerns, was established as part of the Kwara State Ministry of Education in 1968.He declared in 1971 that the Kwara State Polytechnic will be established, and it did so in 1972.He inaugurated the new Ola-Olu Hospital location in December 1972, which has 35 beds. His Ilorin holdings were taken in 1977, and they weren’t recovered until May 2003, 26 years later. Femi David Bamigboye, his son, was named the governor of Kwara State’s special assistant in 2009. In 1967, Col. D.L. Bagiboye became the first Military Governor to be posted to Kwara State. During his tenure, the state’s highly skilled, seasoned, and patriotic civil personnel were effectively utilized by his administration.Among the many accomplishments he and the State Executive Council members noted was the construction of secretariats to accommodate civil servants’ office accommodations in the state capital. He was told to conduct the “Iroko Oluwere festival” during this consultation after learning that the witches were causing the people’ problems for the first time. This image is a still from the 1979 filming of the movie, which took place in the village of “Ibatefin” close to the town of Idi-Iroko, which is on Nigeria’s border with the Benin Republic. The link between Esu and humanity is described in “Ose’tura.” To be more precise, Esu manifests in several ways. In this particular verse (Ose’tura), the manifestation is referred to as Esu  O’dara, which means the Divine Messenger distributes or starts transformation. When the Westerners arrived in the 17th century, they called EŚU the devil. However, EŚU is a divine messenger and a Deity, never the devil or evil.

Evans is a Nigerian kidnapper from Nnewi in Anambra State’s Nnewi North Local Government Area who was found guilty. He became well-known in 2017 after he abducted Donatus Dunu,  the managing director of Maydon Pharmaceuticals Ltd, and demanded 223,000 euros in ransom from his relatives. Little is known about the kidnapper’s early years; however, he had stated that he entered the profession when his father disowned him. Chukwudi Dumeme Onuamadike was his birth name. His mother was never supportive even though she knew he was a kidnapper. Evans refused to listen to her repeated warnings to halt what he was doing. He originally began his kidnapping operation in Anambra. He started under the tenure of former Governor Peter Obi, but the heat forced him to move to Edo State. He relocated from Edo State to Lagos in 2013, where he rose to prominence as one of the leading kidnapping masterminds, controlling up to seven groups, making it difficult for the police to apprehend him. He would kidnap his victims and transport them to a leased flat in Igando with the assistance of his group. The victims would be held captive in House No. 21 Prophet  Asaye Close, New Igando, until their loved ones paid the ransom. In an interview with Vanguard, Evans revealed that he was compelled to leave Junior Secondary School Class 2 after his father, Steven Onwamadike, divorced his mother, Chinwe, and weded someone else. Evans, a resident of Akamili, Umudim Quarters, Nnewi, Anambra state, clarified that he was urged to join another businessman in Nnewi who trades in spare parts by his father, a businessman. Sadly, things didn’t work out for Evans after he had been working for his master for five years.  He was charged with stealing and was taken away without receiving payment. He claims that his father kicked him out of the house because he was so ashamed by this turn of events. Evans claimed that the behavior of his father had a profound effect on him and that he felt compelled to move into his mother’s home. He claimed that in addition to accepting him, his mother had arranged money for him to come to Lagos. Evans claimed that when he was in Lagos, he began selling diesel to truckers and luxury bus drivers at the Alafia Bus Stop on the Lagos-Badagry Expressway. Oldest Tortoise in the World “ALAGBA”(The Elderly one) in the Palace of Ogbomoso Oyo State

According to historical records, Alagba was born around 1675 in what is now known as Ogbomoso, the old Oyo town. Because of the allusion to her age, it is known as Alagba, which translates to “the elderly one” in Yoruba. It is believed that Isan Okumoyede, the third ruler of the kingdom (1770–1797), brought the cherished reptile to the palace. In Ogbomoso, the fabled tortoise saunters around the king’s opulent grounds, the tortoise hosted numerous monarchs. The tortoise drew tourists from all over the world and was believed to have therapeutic properties. Two employees of the palace were specifically assigned to the tortoise. They made sure she received the finest care possible by providing food, medical support, and other necessities. Kabiyesi  Oladunni Oyewumi and Alagba frequently enjoy wonderful moments. In 2018, Alagba passed on, aged 344.

After the initial vision that resulted in the establishment of Living Faith Church Worldwide (LFCWW), formerly known as Liberation Faith Hour Ministries, in 1981, this photo was shot. Two years later, on September 17, 1983, David and his wife Florence Abiola Akano, also known as Faith Abiola Oyedepo, were ordained as pastors and the new church was formally commissioned by Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. The late Archbishop Benson Idahosa, Oyedepo’s life mentor, consecrated him as a bishop five years later. Living Faith Church (also known as Winners Chapel International) was founded in Kaduna, but in July 1989, Oyedepo claimed to have received instructions from God to establish a new branch in Lagos, the former capital of Nigeria.

Obasanjo’s Letter to General Yakubu Gowon, the then-Head of State During the Civil War

Colonel Olusegun Obasanjo questioned the approach of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces to the battle in daring letters he wrote to General Yakubu Gowon, the then-head of state, while the Nigerian civil war was raging. In the final eight months of the war, Colonel Obasanjo led the Nigerian Army’s Third Marine Commando. He would go on to become Head of State (1976–1979) and civilian president (1999–2007). Before the conflict was eventually over, he wrote more than seven personal letters to Yakubu Gowon, the ruler of state at the time. The war continued unabated until 1969, when it had entered its second year. To invigorate the troops, the Nigerian Army Headquarters in Lagos released new operational directives on May 9, 1969. Three days later, the Army’s three division commanders were revealed to have changed. Colonel Gibson Jalo succeeded Colonel Mohammed Shuwa as the commander of the First Division, Colonel Iliya Bisalla  succeeded Colonel Ibrahim Haruna as the commander of the Second Division, and Colonel Obasanjo succeeded Colonel Benjamin Adekunle (also known as Black Scorpion) as the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Third Marine Commando. On May 16, Obasanjo, a colonel at the age of 30, arrived in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State, to take up his new responsibilities at the front lines of the battle. Three weeks after arriving in Port Harcourt, Obasanjo reportedly wrote a six-page letter to the head of state on June 10, 1969, according to The Letterman. “I have visited all of my areas of operation in the last three weeks, and I have seen as much of the terrain as I can. While things are not good overall, there is yet possibility for improvement if quick action is done. Since my arrival, I have also attempted to describe in my two presentations the difficult and declining relationship among the 3MCDO officers. It is equally important to note that there is hope for a better future in this direction. I can say with absolute certainty that the Division’s fighting spirit remains intact, and morale is typically rising, despite numerous inadequacies and… which will be detailed later. Any amount of success, no matter how tiny, will keep spirits high. The unexpected occurred on Friday, October 6, 1995, between 8.15 and 8.30 am. In front of Pa Alfred Rewane’s  residence at 100 Oduduwa Crescent, G.R.A., Ikeja, Lagos, a Peugeot 504 automobile screamed to a stop. Five men got out of the car’s belly looking like murderers from the Sicilian Cosa Nostra. They went up to the guard and explained that they were there to visit the landlord in order to deliver a crucial message from Life Flour Mills in Sapele. The business is owned by Pa Rewane. They pushed a document in front of the gatekeeper. He quickly unscrewed the gate from its lubricated hinges. The men came in. Head was heading upstairs to let the domestic staff know he had some visitors. Together with the aide, two of the men ascended the steps. While the others were occupied with the landlord upstairs, they had taken two of the Chief’s daughters captive. The attackers fired numerous rounds into the defenseless elderly man’s body. He passed away. Rewane was born in Warri, Nigeria, to Jemide Erewarone’s family. His full name at birth was Ogbeyiwa Erewarone. Rewane’s father was an Agbor-based businessman. During the period that his father was away from Warri, Rewane remained with his uncle, who was a devout follower at the time and gave Rewane his first name, Alfred. He received his education in Warri at the African School and later the Government School. Rewane did not continue his schooling after being accepted to Dennis Memorial Grammar School for his secondary education. He began his career with UAC as a manager trainee and eventually rose to the position of beach master at Lagos Customs Wharf. The Kibaku, also known as the Chibok ethnic group, are comprised of 38 distinct clans and sub-clans that speak the same language. They initially arrived in the Chibok hills in the 1700s. There, they battled off the forces of the British (the Kibaku were the last people to submit to British power), Borno, the Sudanese slave trader, and Rabah Fadallah, Africa’s most infamous slave trader during the late 1800s and the early 1900s.

Corona School Ikoyi is one of the seven Corona Schools that were founded between 1955 and 2008. It was founded in February of 1960. The school was founded with a block of classrooms that could house the initial group of students from various countries. It is situated at No. 6 Mekunwen Road, Ikoyi. Mrs. Jean Abili, the first Headmistress, served from 1960 to 1998. Professor Osinbajo was born in Lagos in 1957 and holds degrees from the London School of Economics and the University of Lagos. He soon began lecturing at the University of Lagos and continued to practice law on a private basis until 1999. Osinbajo was named Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Lagos State Governor Bola Tinubu’s cabinet that same year. Osinbajo left government in 2007 after serving during both of Tinubu’s four-year administrations.  He then resumed his private practice, gave lectures, and followed his calling to become a pastor at the Redeemed Christian Church of God. He became the vice president in 2015 under the Buhari administration.

An old photo of Union Trading Company PLC, also referred to as UTC PLC, was publicly listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange in 1961 and was a diversified company formed in Switzerland. Swiss traders who were connected to the Basel Mission and the Basel Trading Company created it with the intention of donating a portion of their profits to the mission’s operations. Before entering the Nigerian market, the traders had prior business interest in Ghana and India. Before the First World War, the corporation had a successful cocoa business in Ghana. Years later, in 1932, the group opened a subsidiary in Nigeria. Through trade and acquisitions, the company expanded into Nigeria, where it established a number of subsidiaries, including HF Schroeder, UTC Foods, Dorman Long Nigeria, Amalgamated Metal Containers, and a motors division. UTC’s revenues soared from 150 million francs to around 1.5 billion francs during Nigeria’s oil boom, which followed World War II and led to a rise in merchandise importation into the country.

Ramsey Noah revealed that he was the brand’s eight-year-old face when sharing a picture of Blue Band margarine. Filming today is more comfortable, the renowned actor claims, after realizing how tiresome the brand’s commercial video production was. He stated, what do you think? That’s me when I was the 8-year-old brand ambassador for BLUE BAND. God had obviously planned for me to be the center of attention from the moment I was born.  I realized how comfortable filming today is when I think back on how tiresome the commercial’s still and video shoot was. The camera was enormous, and the lights were so big that they could cook croaker fish with their heat. It wasn’t humorous at all that they had to take off my clothes more than four times to iron off the perspiration because I was perspiring so much. And now that it has happened, I am filled with nostalgia for it and the development of our industry since then.
